The 3C589D is supported, as even the most brief search of the -mobile 
list archive would have shown you.  Please take advantage of the 
resources that are available to you.

Now, if you were to tell us which *version* of FreeBSD you are running, 
we could identify a number of possible difficulties which might be 
preventing you from enjoying the use of your '589.
