Yes.

If you have FreeBSD already installed on the first IDE disk, you will 
need to change the "wd0" entries in /etc/fstab to reflect the new disk 
identity (either "wd1" if you make it the second disk on the first 
controller, or "wd2" if you make it the first disk on the second 
controller).
