i just finished building p6 john# /usr/local/jdk1.3.1/bin/java -version java version "1.3.1-p6" Java(TM) 2 Runtime Environment, Standard Edition (build 1.3.1-p6-spaz-020319-13:05) Classic VM (build 1.3.1-p6-spaz-020319-13:05, green threads, nojit) i watched the process, i am stunned by the complexity. i had to do very little work to make this happen. the two toughest parts where: 1. realizing that the linux-jdk was a port and not a package 2. getting registered at the java website. i think this is wonderful and i should have done it months ago. very, very, very, very good job! thanks for all of your hard work! johnu -- John L.
