Supermicro X9DRI-LN4F+ motherboard
512G dram

!2.2 DVD installer starts loading kernel then dies just after:

mfisyspd0 1907456MB (3906469888 sectors) SYSPD volume (deviceid: 13)
mfisyspd0: SYSPD volume attached
mfi0: DJA NA XXX SYSPDIO

Fatal trap 12: page fault while in kernel mode
cpuid: 12 apic id: 0c
fault virtual address: 0x0
fault code: sup read data. page not present

(I can send a screenshot of the rest of the error data)

Any ideas?

Do I need to build a special kernel when using this much DRAM?

Thanks,

Joe
