i have had the same problem with 5.0 & with every 4.x i've tried using a xi=
rcom
pccard with a thinkpad t22.  it occurred to me to install with a cdrom & th=
en
get the card running but was afraid to wipe my linux installation in case t=
he
card still didn't work.  linux isn't my os of choice, but to my mind an os =
that
gives you net is better than one that doesn't.

suggestions other than cdrom?
