The ID is unknown to FreeBSD 8.2. Then add a line like the following to u3g.c: U3G_DEV(HUAWEI, ETS2055, U3GINIT_HUAWEI), Check the file for the other options like U3GINIT_HUAWEI you have. The chances are then pretty high that all will work The next problem will then your ppp.conf. Erich
