Hi, This is OT, I will appreciate all answers. Thanks. I'm going to buy UltraTrak SX 8000 SCSI-to-ATA RAID and it will be connected to FreeBSD 4.6 RELEASE (file server). It is Ultra 160 SCSI and it must appear as standard SCSI device to any OS, but I just would like to ask if there is anybody with SX8000 under FreeBSD with production system, any problems? It will be setup as 8x160GB RAID 5 which means I will almost hit 1TB. Is it good idea to format the whole thing as one slice or not? Can somebody recommend a nice Ultra 160 SCSI card for this thing under FreeBSD? I'm pretty sure any Adaptec U160 can handle it, but... Sorry, for asking too many questions in one email. :-| Thanks in advance! Miroslav Pendev To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-scsi" in the body of the message
