This is what I did:

1. System running CURRENT from 2 days ago
2. rm -r /usr/obj/* /usr/src/*
3. cvsup source dated 2004.11.07.07.00.00 (this is a version I have run
before)
4. ln -s /root/kernels/XXX /usr/src/sys/i386/conf/XXX
5. cd /usr/src; make buildkernel
6. fail...

I don't see how I could have messed anything up. I even tried another
version that I also know have worked before (2004.11.05.07.00.00) with
exactly the same result.

I'll try this on another machine I have that is running CURRENT.
