If you could get several docs folks to volunteer to each cover one of the "fringe" BSD lists, the job would be done. Most of those lists are fairly low-volume. Hell, I'll put my money where my mouth is. I'm going to go subscribe to (rummage through site), let's say, -fs and see what's happening there. If any exciting changes come through, I'll write something and send-pr it to docs. The documented lists are where new lists & projects come from, after all. > were "polling" driven, e.g. the documenter went out and actively > dragged information out of people at the point of a gun if necessary. Gunpoint is rarely necessary. You want something that will hurt a lot more, like their SCSI cable and a pair of scissors. > Anybody in the docs project > who expects things to go otherwise for them is simply fooling > themselves Sadly, yes. Most of the developers communicate best in code. It would be nice if it was otherwise, but while I'm dreaming, I'd like a pony. ==ml -- Michael Lucas mwlucas@blackhelicopters.org http://www.blackhelicopters.org/~mwlucas/ Big Scary Daemons: http://www.oreillynet.com/pub/q/Big_Scary_Daemons To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe cvs-all" in the body of the message
