He say's 6 channel, it's certainly not a cable TV.

In Versailles (near Paris) I use this script to launch fxtv :

#!/bin/csh
fxtv -inputFormat secam \
         -tunerMode antenna \
         -defaultInput tuner \
         -defaultChannel FR3 \
         -antennaStationList 'MGN(37) TF1(25) A2(22) FR3(28) Canal(6) Arte(30) 
M
6(33)' \
        -antennaFreqSet france \
        -stationInWinTitle \

antennaStationList need customization, it depends where you live in France.
