The Internet says that one should try the Broadcom "wl" driver for this card. This is not part of the `wifibox-brcm` package. But the `net/wifibox-alpine` port has the non-default `XX_DRIVER_WL` option [1] that one could configure and build manually [2]. By version `20230926`, I was able to make Broadcom cards work with the `wl` driver so there is some chance.
