I upgraded to the latest version of X (1.4.2) and the problem still exists. Basically, X will pause until I click or move my mouse. upon looking at my logs, there seems to be a problem with dri. I have included output from Xorg.log, dmesg, kldstat and pciconf I have exhausted google searches to no avail. Usually I like to solve my own problems, but this one I can't seem to do so.
