to upgrade the version in the FreeBSD source tree. I'm really out of
touch with things right now and don't want to face the criticism I

If I'm not wrong, you are the main contributor to the texinfo part in=20
/usr/src/contrib for FreeBSD-3.0, aren't you?
It would be nice to upgrade to the latest version texinfo-3.12, cause=20
makeinfo, which is often required by ports, isn't able to convert the=20
texinfo files into info ones, cause of missing macros like @uref.
Please can you update texinfo quickly? I notice that it configures=20
and compiles fine, cause I need the new makeinfo features in the=20
grace (successor of xmgr) port I've just finished.
