Nobody's gone to the trouble of seeing how the changes made to MM_Unix.pm would affect the MakeMaker package, which is used for module installs _after_ the whole buildworld thing is done. I'm pretty sure it can be done easily, but I don't have the time and nobody else has ever bothered. So all talk and not action is a fine summary. :-) Ciao, Sheldon.
