Synopsis: Pango Port Dies (CVS X).

State-Changed-Why:
Larry, shame on you ;-). You know this will fail. The reason is pango 1.0.x
is written for Xft1. If you want to use CVS X, you might want to give
pango 1.1.x a try (which supports Xft2). I have a port in my MarcusCom
CVS tree. You can get the instructions for accessing it from
http://www.marcuscom.com:8080/cgi-bin/cvsweb.cgi. The module name is ports.
Install the pango port from there.

Note, this will reinstall Xft2 and fontconfig. _You_ may not have to do this.
If you want to use your built-in versions of Xft2 and fontconfig, remove
the dependency to Xft2 in the pango Makefile, and remove patch-pangoxft.h.

If this still fails, restore the port to its default, and reinstall the
Xft2 stuff.

Again, this isn't really supported, but it may work for you.
