Just a comment on the formatting.... The hardware list would look a
lot better if formatted as a table; e.g.:

Providing the name of the driver helps new users to know which device
to select in sysinstall when asked for installation media (or disks to
partition) and also makes the document a bit more useful outside the
installation mechanism.
