As far as I can see it uses FUSE for the file system driver, and when I
last looked at it (at least our version of...) FUSE doesn't support file
locking (flock(2), etc., not kernel locking), so at best it would be of
limited use (e.g. no databases, mbox mailboxes, etc. on it).
