Err, ACPI sort of works.  You have to tell ACPI to ignore the Super IO
controller via this:

debug.acpi.avoid="_SB_.PCI0.PX40.SIO_"

However, suspend/resume doesn't really work. :(  Most of the rest of ACPI works
though.
