As we know from that old blog post, you are not only one having bge problem
with this MacBook Pro model and I'd like not to loose the result we got
discussing this problem.

Can you try 11.2-RELEASE instead of CURRENT? It could be more stable and the
patch will apply cleanly to both of 11.2-RELEASE and 12.0-CURRENT.

As for "lock order reversal" messages, you can safely ignore it for a time
being.
