Please wrap your lines at 72 characters wide.
This will go from mp3 directly to ogg, provided you have mpg123 and
oggenc
To make a wav file from an ogg, use ogg123 -d wav
#!/bin/ksh
for arg; do
oggfile=${arg%%mp3}ogg
mpg123 -b 2048 -s $arg 2>/dev/null | \
oggenc -r -o $oggfile -
done
