I followed a very similar path, but:

bash-2.03$ /usr/local/applix/applix 
bash-2.03$ axmain: signal Segmentation fault      

Applix and Walnut Creek keep sending me more cds.  They both claim that
there is no reason for this to happen.

Any other sugestion ?
