All you had to do was define : NO_SUIDPERL in src/etc/defaults/make.conf. :-) But if I had done that, then there'd be no way to undefine it in /etc/make.conf. That's why I changed the name of the variable also, so people that wanted suidperl would be forced to set it in /etc/make.conf.
