--w7PDEPdKQumQfZlR Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii Content-Disposition: inline Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable I cvsupped today and did a complete and successful rebuild but on one system where I had APM enabled in the kernel with 'device apm' I ended up getting hunderds of msgs with 'microuptime() went....' I headed to the list archives and found out that all I needed to do was to disable apm from the kernel. Now, my hardware BIOS supports APM and I was so comfortable to shutdown my box with 'shutdown -p'=20 It is not that I like shutting down FreeBSD ;-) - only the box is where i do all tests with hard/soft-ware on Unix and Windows platforms so I loved -p when I needed to mangle with hardware.=20 Having disabled apm from the kernel, is there another option to the 'shutdown -p' ?? _or_ better still, is there another cure to the microuptime issue?
