Hi all,

Yesterday I ran into this problem:
My server closed all network connections when I tried to write to a certain drive through the network.
After some investigation I found that there's a problem with this disk.
Running fsck does not fix my problem (FILE SYSTEM STILL DIRTY).
For listings of what I did and what messages I got, please see below.

I think the fact that right before this problem occurred I upgraded my bin from 4.7-RC1 to 4.7-RELEASE is just a coincidence and has nothing to do with this problem. Comments?

I have searched the web for solutions, but couldn't find anything really helpful. I'd be happy to hear from you all about how to get this fixed.

Thank you!
Greetings

Daniel Geske

<--- First, I ran fsck on the drive (after unmounting it) --->
fsck /dev/rda1s1
** /dev/rda1s1
** Last Mounted on /usr/samba/music
** Phase 1 - Check Blocks and Sizes

CANNOT READ: BLK 96
UNEXPECTED SOFT UPDATE INCONSISTENCY

CONTINUE? [yn] n

<--- This time I chose y here (still fsck) --->
