hmm.... how easy is it to install an earlier 3.x ? (3.0-RELEASE --> 3.2-RELEASE) it would be interesting to see if that fixes the problem unfortunately - i dont have any spare HD's to stick it on - or i would try it i tell you what - this was *REALLY* getting me bugged - i thought i had fried the CPU / MB somehow...
