In such a short amount of time it's difficult to do sufficient testing. I'm nervous enough making late changes to the system even in a non-critical area. Every additional change, even small ones, carries more risk. That said, I've just committed my patch with Luigi's modification to clean up the /conf/*/etc copying. Thanks to remote serial consoles, I've tested it in my diskless environment before I did the final commit and it worked like a champ: % date Fri Apr 20 19:29:55 EDT 2001 % uptime 7:29PM up 14 mins, 1 user, load averages: 0.00, 0.00, 0.00 % df Filesystem 1K-blocks Used Avail Capacity Mounted on a.b.c.d:/vol/nfsroot/test 15813736 7975232 7838504 50% / mfs:94 1951 810 985 45% /etc procfs 4 4 0 100% /proc mfs:262 34687 177 31736 1% /tmp mfs:267 1511 60 1331 4% /dev ... -Brian -- Brian Dean bsd@FreeBSD.org bsd@bsdhome.com To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-stable" in the body of the message
