Do you need the data on the drive?

The combination of DMA errors and a passing SMART test indicate a bad
connection between the motherboard and the HDD. What is between the
motherboard and the HDD?

If there is a SATA cable involved, I would try replacing the cable with
a brand-new SATA 6 Gbps cable with locking connectors. If the problems
persist, I would try another SATA port. (You may have to deal with boot
issues if you switch ports and there are other drives.)

Seagate offers a diagnostic tool called "SeaTools". I prefer the
bootable versions. You may need a Windows computer to create bootable
media:

https://www.seagate.com/support/downloads/seatools/

SeaTools can test, zero, and/or reset drives. Successful use of
SeaTools might give you some more life out of the drive.

That said, WikiPedia indicates the Barraduce 7200.9 series were
introduced in 2005. For less than $20 you can get a good used SSD that
is newer, larger, quicker (latency), and faster (throughput).
