Hi. When one has that line in /etc/make.conf, "make install" in any ports dir breaks. It fails to register properly and bails out with: ... ===> Registering installation for freetype2-2.1.2 Cannot fork: Resource temporarily unavailable Cannot fork: Resource temporarily unavailable Cannot fork: Resource temporarily unavailable Cannot fork: Resource temporarily unavailable ===> Cleaning for libiconv-1.8 ===> Cleaning for bison-1.35_1 ===> Cleaning for gmake-3.79.1_2 ===> Cleaning for libtool-1.3.4_4 ===> Cleaning for gcc-3.1.1_20020701 ===> Cleaning for freetype2-2.1.2 It seems to be a dependency loop. Any ideas on how to circumvent this ? Output of "ps uxwwwtp0" while doing make install clean in /usr/ports/archivers/zip on /dev/ttyp0 is at http://www.stack.nl/~marcolz/ps.txt Marc To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-stable" in the body of the message
