> options INVARIANTS > options INVARIANT_SUPPORT I've been bitten badly by INVARIANTS and kernel modules, in particular the zone allocator, when the module and the kernel are built with differing INVARIANTS flags. That was in the days before modules were built as part of the kernel build, so it was much easier to get out of sync then than it is now, but you might check that all your modules have the same timestamp as the kernel!
