As I s= aid it is quite possible out vty switching acts different than the linux one. I= t is a completely different code base. Unluckily without testing I cannot foresee how this is going to affect you. Could you simply test compiling a modified x11/libxfce4menu and check how it affects you? You can simply revert it after a quick test.
