Hi folks,

I have been following the mailing list for more than a month. I found very
knowledgeable people on the mailing list. I was wondering if any you had
any experiences with public WAN ATM networks. Let me explain ...

A company needs to connect several of its sites located in different
cities through a ATM network. Part of the ATM network (some VPI/VCI) is
used to connect to the Internet and the rest of the bandwidth is for
private use. This would primarily be used for multimedia, video stuff...

Is it possible for a company (corporation) to get ATM connection from the
telephone companies? If so, what kind of support do they have?
Do they support SVC?
Do they support ATM multicasting?
What is the level of support provided by the telephone companies?
How do I get this information? ( I tried contacting PacBell but met with
limited success in getting them to answer the questions)

Thanks for any responses
