Maybe that's why I got such a great deal on mine. About 2-3 months ago, I found Intel having 2/$39 offer (shipping included). I took them up on it, but it was limited to one pair per person. I still see them on the shelves in Comp USA... I haven't heard any word about them being phased out, but i wondered why they were so cheap. I've had *NO* problems with these. And I've looked on Intel's site since you mentioned it.
