I found the solution to the problem. The DIMMs have to be inserted 1,3 
or 2,4 or 1,2,3,4, which is what I have now.  Each set of banks has got 
to be 64M + 64M = 128M in my particular case.

Now I have bios screen, Win XP-64, and FreeBSD-64 to play with.
