Hi Alain, thank you.
I am sure that the folks at Bell ( the guys and gals like you and I) that go
to work everyday to make a living and with whom we all work day and day out
can only want what's best for us (after all, we are as a group a HUGE
customer) and we all kinda got to know each other. That is the reason why
after some thinking I decided to just throw this in the middle and see if
there is any hope of having Bell actually work with us and their own
staff....

Hello all,

I think the reason is that Bell can't realy cut the prices until they have
lost a % to the competitors. This was ordered by the CRTC to promote local
competition.

I guess Bell has spent so much time telling the CRTC that the price had to
go up for many reasons over the years that the CRTC told Bell to keep on
selling at that price now that some competition exists.

I have been told that Bell has to loose something like 30% of the market
before that are able to cut the prices and tell their clients that they
have been over charging them for years, no?

>From what i was told by my Bell Rep, thay realy can't cut the price untill
the CTRC approves such a price cut.

I to have been paying over 300K per year to Bell and will cut my bill by
half next year by switching. I understand your reaction. BTW, 3 Year:
$425.00/Month and No Install is a very goor price. Is this In CO or at
your location.

A guy in Quegec got 368$ per month per PRI from Videotron having close to
50 PRIs. Quite the deal!

But Bell can sell you ADSL under cost at home!

Have a nice day.
