Volker: I'm so new that I don't know how to do ktrace...:>) I do get: "aikane (name of my box) /kernel pid 1663 exiting on signal 11 (core dump)" I apparently get the segfault when ymessenger actually connects to the server. However, I'm checking out the config of dependencies to see if they have anything to do with it... Thanks for any help you can give me with the poverty of information I'm supplying...
