    I was hoping it was set at 1.1 and you changed it to 1.4, but
    if it was set at 1.4 then that is the correct MP setting.

    There is something very basic going wrong for it to crash where
    it is crashing.  I think your best bet may be to try to upgrade
    the system from 3.2-RELEASE to 3.2-STABLE and see where you stand
    after that.
