So, what controllers are best for this?

Also, Symbios chip based controllers...
What is supported, and at what level?

I have acouple of old 53c810 models, that I had trouvle with a back in
the 2.1.x days, with some drive models.

Could someone bring me up to date with some personal exp.,  rather than
the "supported hardware list".

I will be upgrading some systems soon, and would like to know what is
working well for other ISP's.
