my 2 cents:

if you are going to fix the st/mt programs will you PLEASE add the counting
of files/records so that "mt/st stat" gives where you are in a multi-volume
dump/restore. I have to hand patch this everytime a new release is put on
my backup machine (I have not even bothered lately since I have been running
SNAPs through it quite often).
