vnc is remote control software, like PC Anywhere, except open source. Very impressive, lets you control win2000, win98, X, Mac, even Palm! I was stunned when I first heard about such powerful software. I now have my FreeBSD server (without a monitor) in the garage and can still run X software from any computer running win2000 and win98 in my house, without an X server. http://www.uk.research.att.com/vnc/ ...Michael... > -----Original Message----- > From: ML Duke [mailto:mlduke@concentric.net] > Sent: Monday, October 30, 2000 4:08 PM > To: SILVER, MICHAEL A > Cc: 'freebsd-newbies@FreeBSD.ORG'; 'Keith Davey'; 'David Johnson' > Subject: RE: Newbie packages > > > > and what is worthwhile.
