[-- Attachment #1 --] I made an error in the /etc/rc.conf file. I quote character was not inserted after the hostname parameter. Now, the machine stops when parsing the file and I can only get to a '#' prompt. I can't get prompted for login and I do not have enough rights to fix the file. Can I get procedure to get enough rights to put the quote character in? Hopefully, I won't have to reinstall the OS. Thanks, Tom Vollmer [-- Attachment #2 --] <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.0 Transitional//EN"> <HTML><HEAD> <META content="text/html; charset=iso-8859-1" http-equiv=Content-Type> <META content="MSHTML 5.00.2722.2800" name=GENERATOR> <STYLE></STYLE> </HEAD> <BODY bgColor=#ffffff> <DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>I made an error in the /etc/rc.conf file.
