Please tell me, if I got wrong here. For me 

"Add support to CAM for devices with more than 2^32 blocks.  
 (2TB if you're using 512 byte blocks)." 

sounds like 

"if you use double sized blocks you will have double-sized limit with
the same number of blocks."

And 1kb would extend the 2TB limit to 4TB, what would work for me here.
