Hello,
I've bought a FreeBSD 3.2 cd set with a book. Will be getting it in a
day or so by ups. There are over 2000 ports on these cd's. And, I don't
know what I absolutly have to have. I want to install Apache/PHP/MySQL.
I know I need an editor and X11, minicom, and some support files or
libraries for the things I ve mentioned. I would like to add an ftp and
irc client too. I want to hook my mac up to my FBSD box to simulate a
web enivorment.
Do I need to add some kind of ppp, dhcp or tcp/ip stuff? Or anything
else? I have a small hard drive, only 700 mb. Any replies would be
helpful.
Thanks
Noel
