There are so many combinations of hardware that it is impossible for us to test them all. There were many changes made from FreeBSD 5.3 to 5.4 and then many more to get to 6.0. As well, it took over 2 months to work out the known bugs in 6.0. A look at our GNATS database will show many errors filed against all of these releases. It is simply impossible to address all 4800+ of these with the developers tha twe have. So we simply to try to address the problems with the hardware that the developers have and work from there. mcl
