In a couple FAQs (FAQ95.html & the mail FAQ), the following paragraph is
quoted from the sendmail FAQ:

>You have asked mail to the domain (e.g., domain.net) to be
>forwarded to a specific host (in this case, relay.domain.net)
>by using an MX record, but the relay machine does not recognize
>itself as domain.net. Add domain.net to /etc/sendmail.cw
>(if you are using FEATURE(use_cw_file)) or add "Cw domain.net"
>to /etc/sendmail.cf.

This /etc/sendmail.cw file is now expected to be at /etc/mail/sendmail.cw.
I was completely baffled for several hours trying to figure out what I was
doing wrong. I suggest adding text like this:

------------------------

Newer versions of FreeBSD expect this file to be at /etc/mail/sendmail.cw.
You can examine /etc/sendmail.cf to see if this applies to you.

------------------------

Perhaps putting a template "blank" file at /etc/mail/sendmail.cw would also
be useful.

Thanks for the great effort!
