Hi All,
I have written an Audio Codec '97 (AC'97) driver that works with
Luigi Rizzo's pcm audio driver for FreeBSD.
The driver implements the basic functions defined in AC'97 specification
Rev1.0. Extensions defined in spec Rev2.1 should be usable, but no
tests has been done. For information on AC'97, please see:

The driver has been tested on AKM4540 only, because that's the only
AC'97 compliant CODEC I've got :-). For other AC'97 compliant CODEC,
it should work with little or no modification.
If anybody writing an audio driver and/or have interest in this driver,
please send me e-mail. (I don't have a Home Page, sorry. :-( )
