I've newfsd my second raid, checked for any disk errors, and I'm doing now a OpenOffice build overnight there with make WRKDIRPREFIX=/test Softupdates are diabled this time. If that's successfully, I'll do the same for a Softupdates enabled system and see if I get it crash again. PS: With my kernel compiled with -O0 (test to see if that solves the corruption) I had the funny effect that lo0 didn't work anymore properly. It just hanged on bigger junks of a ssh pipe to localhost. Ping didn't worked for about 50 seconds each time I tried to transmit anything.
