You're right, sorry!  

I actually rebuilt this system only about a week ago.  Using Solaris 8
2/02, 8_Recommended dated 7/12/02.

Well, that covers a lot of possible variances. :)

What CD version?

What patch level are you running? e.g. if you were installing
8_Recommended, it has been updated about about every 2-4 weeks for the
last couple of years...

Latest is 24-Jul-02.
