I'm not criticizing- what you're doing is great!
I just recall trying them back when I was finishing TurboLaser (8200) and they
did not work at all (the KTIA's in the {jules,ray}.nas.nasa.gov have FDDI
instances that are direct crossover connects to each other- work fine with the
more or less same driver in NetBSD- gotta figure out what's bust... so much to
do.... so much to do......
