If you change RECSIZE to a value that is not 8192, it works fine. Probably an off-by-one somewhere in the code, because as it turns out, the first record is exactly RECSIZE (8192) bytes, which probably eats a terminator somewhere. I'll take a deeper look into this shortly and send a patch soon. --dho
