Ok, I'm sold on the dual DNS bind 8 approach. Unfortunately I can't seem to find any comprehensive documentation on the [apparent] new configuration file formats in general, nor on how to make a single server feed solely off one network interface. I have rummaged through www.isc.org without finding what I need. Any pointers greatly appreciated. -john > Date: Wed, 18 Nov 1998 06:56:01 +0900 > To: john cooper <john@isi.co.jp> > From: Kurt Keller <Kurt@pinboard.com> > Subject: Re: BIND/Mail/MX Question.. > Cc: freebsd-net@FreeBSD.ORG : > If > you are using BIND 8, it is possible to serve both, the internet and > intranet from the same DNS server, provided you use a subdomain for the > intranet.
